 Virtual DJ is a software for mixing the music and adding effects to the audio. you can play multiple audio files like mp3 on the multiple decs provided by Virtual DJ , but as Virtual DJ isnt available for Linux, So we had to port it into Linux for using it, it worked smoothly. With speed and all effects supported. Virtual DJ 7.4 Home Edition ported to linux (Ubuntu / Linux Mint) for the DJ play.

Instructions To Run Portable Virtual DJ :

  • Download the app from the above link.
  • Simply chmod the .run file a+x
  • Execute with ./<filename.run> in terminal
  • Or right click on the .run file
  • Navigate to properties
  • Checkmark Allow Program to be run as Executable
  • or you can simply refer the guide
